Members of Local 792 stood at attention while the Funeral for former longtime Quincy City Clerk John Gillis passed by City Hall under an American Flag hoisted by 2 Quincy Fire Aerial Ladders earlier this week. We were honored to be able to honor John, who was a Quincy Firefighter briefly in the 1940's after returning from his service as a Marine in World War 2. Rest Easy John.
